Service Trip
In December 2022, MEDILOQUY, in collaboration with the Doctors' Goodwill Foundation, completed a medical service trip to RMS Hospital in Dhandhuka, Gujarat, India. Led by founder Sahaj Satani and five dedicated interns, our team completed over 60 service hours, significantly impacting patient care. We assisted in managing chronic illnesses, urgent medical conditions, and notably, an outbreak of the Nipah virus (NiV). This mission not only enhanced our interns' clinical skills but also addressed critical healthcare needs, underscoring MEDILOQUY's commitment to global health.
Shortly prior to the founding of MEDILOQUY, Sahaj Satani collaborated with Bharat Sutariya and Doctors' Goodwill Foundation during the COVID-19 pandemic to launch a fundraising campaign for RMS Hospital in Dhandhuka, Gujarat, India. This initiative supported the COVID care unit, expanding it from the initial 25 beds to 50 beds, providing critical resources to a hard-hit region. Satani's efforts also included raising awareness through local and international networks, ensuring widespread support and visibility for the cause.
